The new year is around the corner which gives us just enough time to reflect on the journey we took in 2018. Our roadmap was very ambitious this year and a growing team worked hard to reach our goals and build you an industry-leading B2B trading tool. Most importantly, international brands entrusted us with their digital wholesale activities and trading on fashionTrade in and out of the showroom truly kicked off!
It has been a year filled with a never-ending stream of new features so we have narrowed them down to some of our favourites. We are looking forward to sharing customer success stories and more new features with you in 2019!
Think global and act local!
With more than 14 nationalities in our team, we know that local-language is a serious topic. Our platform is now available in English and German and we are working on adding more languages, including Dutch and French. In addition, our brands can now sell with multiple currency lists to accommodate retailer partners from around the globe.
Send your customers an editable order proposal
Preparing an order proposal ahead of showroom selling can save time and ensure you reach maximum productivity. Sending a curated order proposal to remote customers helps them feel more secure in their buying decision. fashionTrade brands can now create and send order proposals to their retailers via our mobile, tablet or desktop platform.
Of course, order proposals work across devices so you can start one on the App and finish it on your desktop or laptop. Retailers receive your order proposal via email and can accept or edit (if enabled) immediately!
User roles and retailer groups: translating your business rules
Do you work with retailer groups? Do your sales representatives each have a specific scope and set of customers? For most brands, the answer is yes. These business rules have been integrated into fashionTrade, allowing you to translate your current processes into our digital ecosystem. Our retailer group functionality allows you to show different pricing and/or collections to different customers.
With our new sales representative user role, you can limit the rights of each person and allow them to access a predefined set of customers and styles. In addition, the sales rep will have a ‘view-only’ access to your brand profile and showrooms, ensuring full control over your brand.
A common-sense buying experience for retailers
We also worked hard on improving the buying experience across our platform. With a new look and feel including a redesigned styles page, product detail page, cart and showroom, we are also dedicated to offering the best B2B buying experience for retailers.
To summarise, 2018 has been a very exciting year at fashionTrade. We continue to learn from every discussion we have with current and potential customers. This explains why our 2019 road map is already filled up with exciting new projects. We cannot wait to share our plans and success stories with you, so stay tuned!
