Thomas Ott, Business Development Director
With more than 25 years experience on both sides of the fashion wholesale equation, Thomas has held various positions in sales and buying within Peek & Cloppenburg, a major multi-channel fashion retailer with more than 120 stores across Europe, and at Marc O’Polo, the Swedish-German fashion label. As the Director of Buying and as a member of the Management Committee at Peek & Cloppenburg, Thomas played a strategic role in the internationalisation of the retailer. He then joined Marc O’Polo as the Managing Director of Retail and Buying. Lauren Harmon, Business Development Manager
Born in the USA, but raised in the Netherlands, Lauren held multiple sales positions within Pieces, Selected Femme and Karen Millen. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong expertise in sales strategy, both from a retail and wholesale point of view. From budgeting to connecting with new customers at trade shows or understanding the end-consumer, Lauren has experienced all the challenges a brand faces at the different stages of its development. Özlem Özkan, Business Development Manager
A graduate from the Bestseller International Business Trainee Programme, Özlem has worked on projects across the whole fashion value chain in multiple markets including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and China. This unique experience allowed her to gain key insights into the industry and to develop a strong understanding of the many challenges our customers face within the industry.
After graduating from the programme, Özlem joined Vero Moda as an International Business Development Manager developing the brand in Europe across its retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels. In addition to being dedicated to the fashionTrade product, Özlem also seeks to help develop people on both a personal and professional level. She has a background in psychology and in teaching and worked for several years at international schools in Istanbul and Amsterdam before moving into the fashion industry.
